Irish Hunger Festival - August 16, 2008 - 11:00 am to 9:30 pm: The location will be the Shady Brook Farms off of Rte 332 in Newtown, PA. The featured entertainment will consist of: Shanty's, Bogside Rogues, Birminham Six and Jamison. There will also be Irish step dancers, activities for the kids, vendors and much more! Admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Volunteers are needed. Proceeds will go to the Hibernian Hunger Project of Philadelphia and surrounding counties. On October 7, AOH member and former State Representative, Tommy Corrigan received an award for all his contributions to Irish causes during his political terms. Pictures were taken that captured the event. Click here for pictures.
